A second chance, sewn by hand
We collaborate with an organisation that offers women in prison a second chance by creating real work opportunities for them.
In their workshop, these women turn waste materials from upholstery workshops into bags and other objects.
At our last retreat, each participant received one of these bags as a gift: a memory of the days spent together, and of the hands that made it.
Why it matters to us
Volcanic soil is among the most fertile on earth, precisely because it has been through fire. These women’s work tells the same story: what was thrown away becomes something beautiful and useful.
Supporting them is our way of making sure that the energy of our retreats also reaches people who need a new beginning.
